I received a phone call from Fred Powell while I was at lunch with a travel update. The group is currently waiting in the Miami airport and their flight has been delayed. Apparently there has been a plane crash at the airport in Tegucigalpa and the airport has been closed. They received this news right before their flight was to take off and they were asked to leave the plane and return back inside to wait.

Please continue to pray for this mission team, as I know it can be a more than a bit disconcerting to travel after such news. I have attempted to find information about the earlier flight, but so far have been unable to do so, but please remember those folks and their families as well. I will follow up with additional information as soon as I know more.
